A SHORT INSIGHT
The Merrivale Cricket Club (MCC) compete in the Warrnambool Moyne & District Cricket Association. Our head quarters residing at our turf ground Merrivale Recreation Reserve at 178-188 Merrivale drive in Merrivale; with Harris Street Reserve serving as our hard wicket just down the road. Our club has adopted the Tiger as our mascot.
Established in 1961 as the Merrivale Football Cricket Club, the Tigers have a rich history which includes multiple generations of families playing for our club, premierships through all grades and many contributions to the league representative sides. The Tigers aim is to be one of the premier clubs in the area, that provides opportunities to all abilities, ages and genders.

IT'S A FAMILY CLUB
The MCC take great pride in the generations of families that have continued to play for the club, as well as all new families who choose to call the Tigers home. Examples of this can be seen through multiple generations of the families of our club such as the Lovells, Pearsons, Wilkinsons, Burgess, Pethericks, Gilchrist, Farys, Lynchs, Flemings, Gannons, Perrys; just to mention a few off the list.
Our club also plays a part in establish the start of new generations of families starting to make the Tigers their own like the Sandows, Humphrys, Hawkins, Sinnotts, Pomerins; just also name a few.
We take great honour in how many of these players also choose to give back to the club through volunteering but particularly with the juniors, with parents being seen in a lot of our junior coaching roles.

OUR FACILLITIES
MERRIVALE RECREATION RESERVE
Merrivale Recreation Reserve has facilities for football, netball and cricket. Social clubrooms and change rooms pavilion, as well as netball change rooms. The Merrivale Football Netball Club and Merrivale Cricket Club participate in the Warrnambool District Football Netball League (WDFNL) and Warrnambool Moyne District Cricket Association (WMDCA) respectively.
Features: Training standard floodlighting, scoreboard, public toilets, playground, turf cricket wicket.



HARRIS STREET RESERVE
Part of the broader Lake Pertobe Precinct, Harris Street Reserve is a diverse complex with spaces catering for soccer, cricket and dog training, including an enclosed ‘off leash’ space. It hosts Warrnambool Wolves Football Club programs including the Warrnambool and District Soccer League competitions, Dog Training and Trial events, and Warrnambool Moyne and District Cricket Association (WMDCA) competitions.
Features: Training standard floodlighting, synthetic cricket wicket, two full sized soccer pitches, connection to Lake Pertobe and shared pathways.
Requests for hire of the social club rooms are managed directly through Warrnambool Wolves Soccer Club.
